I got my Parcelforce invoice today and I've got to pay £22 duties. Doh!! Would have been cheaper to get them from the UK but they are impossible to find in Kids size 2 here in the UK in anything other than sand!0

If it is with Parcelforce it'll be 17.5% on the total price you paid - including postage - plus £8 handling fee. WHo did you buy from and how do you know they are stuck in customs? You will usually get invoiced from Parcelforce before being told they are in customs and a courier will deliver and then invoice you.0 -

Hi, i ordered them off a website, i can't put it up as i now believe it is a fake ugg seller and do not wish to advertise them! I know they are stuck in customs or as it states on my parcel tracker 'awaiting custom charges'.
Due to the tracker information, they are being sent via EMS Worldwide Express Mail Service.
Thanks xx0 -

I think they work out around £20-£23 a pair, I wouldnt know what you should do though because if you pay it and they turn out to be fakes you wont get the customs fees back.
I think you should ring paypal and explain to them the situation before you pay the charges and see what they advise. Maybe tell them that ugg Australia have confirmed they are not a stockist and see what they say. If the boots are fake you can open a dispute and maybe get the refund for the boots but being stung on both pairs with customs you will lose that which is really unfair on you. I wonder how you stand with Paypal if you refuse the delivery its worth checking with them.0 -
Just a couple of things here. Chavs are not the only people who wear uGgs! I'm a goth and I wear them! And secondly does it really matter what brand they have as lon as they're quality? I bought mine from ebay at a very reasonable price and they are genuine uGg boots, (with the large G) but my mates have some of the others which are just as nice and just as good quality. I dont personally see what all the fuss is about, as long as they keep your feet warm in winter thats all I'm bothered about.0

This thread is trying to help people find the brand of boots they are looking for at the best price. Nobody has said they have to be the uGg brand, reading back on the posts you will see that other brands are frequently mentioned for their quality. And who said anything about chavs0
