Appologies for not reading through the 170 odd pages first! but is the OP's link genuine? Martins insert said there maybe some question over the boots being genuine uggs? If they arent kosher where to go??!! Thanks
No, these turned out not to be genuine boots. If you google 'Ugg Australia Boots' you'll find genuine companies. Most are in the US but there are some in the UK but they are selling out quite quickly. Make sure you can see the logo for Ugg Australia, Ugg is a generic word the 'genuine' ones are made by Ugg Australia.
The general rule is that if a site selling them has the word 'ugg' in the name then 99 times out of 100 they will be fakes. Have a google around you'll get an idea of prices, there are very rarely sales on the boots but there are companies that offer a special offer code by getting a newsletter (rei for example) so look all over the site and google the name to see if there are codes around, do not forget to check postage as well.
You'll find that they are all the same listed price in the US/Australia/UK (ie £160 in UK or $160 in US) but by buying from overseas you'll get them cheaper from the US than the UK because of the exchange rate, even with postage and possible customs charges you will save money.0 -
Can anyone help please???
I bought my uggs back in Nov' 97. This was when this huge forum was quite small, someone posted a link about a UK company that made the same boots but weren't branded as being uggs.
Does anyone know what that company is called? I've re-read the 1st 10 pages but can't bare going through all 100+ pages before finding it.
Basically I absolutely love my uggs but want a pair of slippers just like them so I can be toasty warm this winter xxxx0 -
Possibly Kiwi-Sheepskins? I bought some from them last year very cheaply (£26 for short sand boots) and still wearing them today!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0

Thanks Chameleon but it's not that site.
It was definately a UK manufactured and sold site. I think it was somewhere down south x0 -
I have noticed that on my UGG's that I had about a year the fluffy part in the big toe area inside has disappeared (if that makes sense). I'm a bit worried now that the skin might rip. Has that happened to anyone else? Not the ripping part, but the wearing off of the fluff. The boots are my size.
Mine have too. I walk at least 5 miles a week with the dog and I wore them constantly for the best part of 7 months (my god that's about 140 miles!) so they've done well. I remember when I bought mine you could also buy replacement insoles. So I suppose like everything else, nothing is forever. Why don't you go to your local shoe repair shop and get some replacement insoles. Personally I wouldn't go for anything else except real sheepskin x0 -

celtic sheepskin? They are based in Newquay, Cornwall
"The Celtic Sheepskin Co began in the mid 1970's as the original Ugg Co, making Ugg Boots and assorted leather goods. Since then, the company has steadily expanded to become one of the largest suppliers of sheepskin footwear and clothing in the UK. Celtic Sheepskin have been trading on-line for over a decade"0 -

FAKE!
No usage of the style/design of genuine ugg label.
No picture of labelling.
No usage of ugg pictures - the site has made their own!0
