You are NOT guaranteed to get a refund via Paypal even if you do a chargeback. If they empty their account then Paypal can't access the funds to repay you. Using a credit card is a far safer option, although I think they only insure purchases over £100.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Hmmm, that is why I stopped using Paypal for mu business. They do chargebacks and either refund the money and then set the bailiff on you if your account is empty or help yourself to it from your bank account!! This is why I no longer use paypal and the day this happened to me, someone bought something, left positive feedback and then told Paypal the card use was unuthorised. Paypal took the money from AND charged ME £7 for accepting an unthorised card! I agree, use credit card but usually this only applies of the transaction is over £100 - and if buying kids boots it only costs £70-£80 depending on where you shop.
The Paypal/eBay board on this site will give you more of an insight on how many people this has happened to.0 -
I found another one, ships to the Uk for $40.60

New Question: what colour Ugg do you think is the best/most versatile/most hard wearing? Also the long or the short classic?
My friend directed me to http://www.hellougg.com/
This looks like it's based in China and accepts western union payments so from what I've read here think it must be a dodgy site.
I'm hoping to buy my first pair and can't decide which colour I'd get the most wear out of. I definitely don't want black, they are probably the most practical I'm just not so keen on the black.
Thanks for your opinions.0 -

this year i have gone for chesnut as i think these go with more clothes.
i like the chocolate boots but my coats are normally black not brown so i think too many different colours will look messy!
i've gone for tall as these keep you warmer!
i also want sone short grey ones as these are (apparantly) the uggs to have this year!!
i bought mine from ASOS & was lucky enough to use a 20 % off code i found on here, so i paid around £136.mummy to 3 monsters!
trying to money save, but spot too many bargains on here!!0 -

Last year i bought the Chocolate Brown ones & was very happy with them! They kept their colour and went nicely with most of my clothes.
I recently bought the Grey ones, which will go with practically everything i wear as well.
(Both Short pairs, as i wear Jeans a lot. I personally think the Short ones look better tucked into jeans than the long).

Chestnut are probably the most versatile, they go with everything. I think the least are chocolate, if you wear a lot of black then I wouldn't consider them. I have just got the grey recently, I think I will get a lot of wear out of them, its personal choice but I would say my Chestnut ones are my must haves. I have both short and long Chestnut and they have both been worn a lot. If you wear skinny jeans go with the tall ones, if you wear looser fit jeans then the short ones are better, you can also wear the short ones with velour tracksuit bottoms.
I have had sand in the past, I would never buy them again due to the dirty marks as previously mentioned!0 -
I have noticed that on my UGG's that I had about a year the fluffy part in the big toe area inside has disappeared (if that makes sense). I'm a bit worried now that the skin might rip. Has that happened to anyone else? Not the ripping part, but the wearing off of the fluff. The boots are my size.0

Should I be worried??
I ordered a pair of UGG's from REI on 11.9.08, they were despatched on 17.9 but I still haven't received them. REI say to allow up to 3 weeks for delivery, Does anybody know what would happen if I don't receive them? there is no tracking for international orders. Any advice would be great.0
