Well it's nice to read that she's apologetic for helping to launch an unfortunate fashion craze, more credit to her.

Well I'm not sure if I have to be honest - it had the UK as a shipping option and they have sent me a confirmation but I don't think that they will ship - I just hope that they don't charge my credit card. Back to the drawing board I think.

Any news on your boots yet? Has your card been charged yet or your order been cancelled?

    Thanks.

WWW.UGGSTOREUK.CO.UK IS A SCAM! I WAS STUPID AND FELL FOR IT AND ORDERED SOME UGGS - THEY ARE FAKE, ONE WAS BIGGER THAN ANOTHER (THOUGH THEY WERE SAME SIZE) - IT IS A COMPANY BASED IN CHINA (OR AT LEAST THAT IS WHERE THE PARCEL CAME FROM). THEY KEEP IGNORING MY E-MAILS REGARDING RETURN/REFUND AND THEIR WEBSITE IS NOW NO LONGER AVAILABLE. I'M TRYING NOW TO GET MY MONEY BACK VIA PAYPAL. ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE HAVING SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WITH THESE PEOPLE?

Hi, I also fell for the cheap Ugg boots sale from aforementioned website. I wasn't even lucky enough to get the wrong sizes as my order never arrived. I made a claim through PayPal and they found in my favour but then said recovering funds is never guaranteed and say the matter is closed. That's the last time I'm using PayPal, it's credit card or nothing from now on, at least they make an effort at anti-fraud.
  • What;'s the cheapest, GENUINE short silver metallic Uggs anyone's found? For me, so far it's on Office website but I was wondering if there's any cheaper to be had?

They do seem really cheap, would be interested to know too if anyone has had any luck ordering with them?

I was also wondering about sizing for the cardy uggs?
I have a pair of tall chestnut uggs that I've had for 4 years, looked inside and they say size W7. I've heard that the cardy's don't have the US sizing inside? is that right? I'm usually a 6 -7 UK size.

    Yep. Steer clear.

For all the newbies who have missed earlier posts. There is no such thing as very cheap Ugg boots, unless they are fake or dont exist. All these sites, uggsuk, uggsboots, uggstores, treatyourself etc. They are all dodgy save your money and buy from well known stores and sites. This is a Moneysaving site, there are some things that saving money can actually lose you money...Ugg boots is one of them!

If a site takes unusual payment methods and has only email contact details, also at the bottom of the page if the site set up was 2008 then take this as a warning not to buy!

They had fake Uggs at my local market at the weekend...£60! £60 for something that is inferior and no better than what you get for £6 out of Primark just because they have a fake label stuck on them!! People were flocking round them and I just felt sorry for them because I think so many people actually believe they are real! I have bought genuine Uggs for not much more by hunting a good deal.

    HTH.
  • MOrning everyone, since Office sold out (and still not refunded me!!) I've been trawling. Found a few sites and I'll report back on what I can find in the way of those that ship internationally. I do not mind getting them shipped, even with the cost of customs it is sometimes cheaper but cozyboots way $75 for shipping and I know that this is a complete rip off. Anyway, I have emailed some other people about their charges as they are not that clear but any I fin I will post here.

    This one:

    http://www.duckduckgooseboutique.com/index.htm

Seems legit, postage by USPS is $38.50 for classic talls. None in my size it seems but they sell ladies and kids. They take Paypal so if you are worried about losing money this is the best way as you can do a 'chargeback'. Make sure you have a Paypal account rather than just sending though so you have an account record to refer back to.

I am losing count of the number of people that do not sell Youth US 3's, they all run to a 1 and the US 4's (UK 3's) are too big for me.

I've stuck my others in the free ads this week/next week so fingers crossed I can flog those to pay for the new ones. Am i the only person to have a legit pair of boots that no-one wants cos everyone thinks they are dodgy?? LOL!!
  • OK, I would like to know though, why so many people do not ship internationally. Do they not realise how much money they could be making by sending shoes through the post? For the sake of a few extra ££ on Insurance as well. I sell online and around 1/4 of my customers are from overseas, I'd be mad to get rid of those customers, surely all they need to do is go to the post office to send them??

Just to add: This page in the US for a link to boots on Zappos (no Int. shipping) has an ad for Littlewoods Direct playing on the side. How odd, Littlewoods don't ship overseas either. http://www.stylefeeder.com/i/f22kfnbs/Ugg-Kids-Mini-Bloke-Toddler-Youth-Chestnut-Footwear
