Just had this from Hartingtons. First I order from Wang and get an 'I'm sorry I can't fulfill your order', now I get this, I am grateful for their honesty tho':

We regret to advise that we are unable fulfill your order for Chocolate UGG Australia boots.

Unfortunatly Deckers contracted the manufacture of the December deliveries for their Australian and New Zealand distributors from an alternative source to their usual Chinese suppliers.

Having now seen this stock we do not believe the quality of finish to be of an equivalent standard to the boots we have been selling or to those currently available in the UK and Europe. To avoid future complications we have declined this delivery and will now wait for the Chinese replacements next year.

Please note that your card has not been charged.

boo hoo i got this email today too! am soooo gutted :(

i almost ordered from kiwi sheepskins a while ago but am worried they won't fit properly (ordered some emu boots last week in my normal size 6 and they were too small!). celtic sheepskin do some gorgeous ones too but same problem...

 not happy with Hartings, I got an email to say I wouldnt get my order...which I expected after previous posts.

    But mine said

We regret we have been unable to fulfil your order due to lack of stock. No charge has been made against your card.

    Well thanks a lot Hartings!

I wouldnt want the inferior quality boots but dont all customers deserve the same explanation? The funny thing is my mum ordered a pair from them well over a year ago and they did the same thing. Its not fair at xmas to take orders on stock not 'in hand' as it lets people down, if I had known they were a pre order then I would of re considered ordering them.

Luckily though Wang had a pair, they wont be here for xmas but cozyboots has a notice saying they expect them in February  so it beats waiting that long.

  • I'm not sure how much relevance there is in this, however...

After recieving the money saving email newsletter yesterday i went onto the snugg website to look into buying the cheap £62 Ugg Boots and registered with them. I then forwarded the money saving email to my boyfriend so he could have a look as he said he would buy me them for my xmas. He registered with snugg also.

At 6pm last night someone hacked into my ebay account and hotmail changing my passwords and used the saved credit card in my ebay account to put 29 listings up for UGG Boots!! Some of the listings were costing me over £15 each. Luckily ebay noticed that there was some strange activity happening and put a block on the listings and refunded my card.

My boyfriend has since noticed that over £1000 has been taken out of his account by a fraudster...he thinks the person managed to get his card details through ebay also.

It seems a bit strange that we both signed up to a website selling cheap uggs on the same day; then both of us were victims of identiy fraud on the same day also.

I dont know if this is just a coincidence or not but i thought it best to let people know just in case and to be careful.

The only place if you need them right now is wang919 on ebay. Everywhere else is out of stock.

Are you in a rush for them?

they sell them here http://www.hartings.co.nz/ very similar to deckers uggs.

i ordered some boots from kiwi sheepskin last night at 10.30pm and when i checked my email today i had an email from them at midnight saying they'd been shipped! how efficient is that?! hope they don't take too long to arrive - my tesco uggs are looking pretty bad now, even though i've only had them 4 weeks :embarasse mind you, they were only £8!!

I ordered from Kiwi Sheepskins on the 10th Dec. Like you I had an email the next morning to say that they had been shipped. they arrived today at 2.30 pm. I'm sure they took longer than normal because of all the extra Chrismas post. Bearing that in mind 10 days for them to arrive at this time of year I think is impressive.
    The boots....they are yummy!!!!
They have been on my feet since unpacking them apart from letting dh have them to spray waterproofing on them.
They are extremely good quality & very well made. I have not seen Uggs in the flesh to compare but these do work out at half the price & I'm not bothered about having Ugg on the heel.
Now waiting to see if I get clobbered for the customs charges.
The boots are still well worth it if I do. Would recommend the company wholeheartedly!
