Youre a star, i just managed to get what i have been looking for, was going to get a US7 but my sister in law is a UK5-6 so just ordered the US6 as thats all they had.

Who delivered them did you get customs? That discount code makes a lot of difference. :T

No problem. UPS delivered them. There was a customs charge of just less than £25, which made them just over £100 in total. I noticed they had put a value of $75 on the box which probably reduced the charges a bit?

The discount code for 20% off is 'THANKYOU3' for anyone who's thinking of ordering.
  • hi everyone, does anyone know where i can get some classic tall uggs in chestnut in a u.k 6? i've tried everywhere i can think of, i don't even mind if they have to be delivered within the u.s as i have relatives living there that i can send them to. I know i've left it abit late but didn't think they would sell out so easily, silly me. i was thinking of just giving up and getting canterburys instead, what do you think?

TBH, unless you really want to have the UGG label on the heel then I would go for the Canterbury's as they are far superior in quality and also carry a label on the heel so at a glance from a distance no one would be any the wiser unless they get down to take a closer look at your feet :rotfl:

Ive taken the plunge and bought some tall sand UGgs from Bootbarn (USA) for my better halfs Crimbo pressie

They arrived this am having been ordered only on Friday 30.11. They look genuine, smell genuine and at £80 all in (inc p&p) I feel Ive got a real bargain here.

    There's only one problem.

I bought an 8m for a UK6 foot and I have to say they look BIG!. Im slightly concerned that they might be on the "roomy" side but my wife often complains here feet are too wide so maybe they will be a snug fit

Put it this way - the damn things will be worn regardless!

I am happy to recommend Bootbarn. Use the discount code as discussed earlier on the forum and knock 15% off

thanks Chameleon, did i read in an earlier post that the canterburys are wider at the top than uggs, is it by much do you know? :o

Yes, put it this way, my tall UGG's fit very snuggly around the calf and I can only wear them over footless tights/leggings, not enough room for jeans, but I can comfortably slide my hand down the side of the Canterbury boots and can wear them over jeans no problem. I wouldn't say my calves are unusually large either but they are a bit muscly(sp) from riding/walking ;)

I bought a US 8 (short classics) from Bootbarn and am a uk 40 / 6 and a half and they are a little on the big side for me. I tried on a friends US 7 but needed more room at the toe but wish got them now as they would have stretched. I have bought some sheepskin insoles from Ebay to help rectify problem - still slightly big but much better. Prob worth buying a pair to stick in with it! (I havent been charged customs yet - UPS was courier -£24 was marked on invoice but I wasn't asked for it when I collected them!)

Anyone know about Hartings sizings. DH has bought me tall chestnut ones for xmas - not delivered yet but have gone for US8 again and am now regretting it????

My boots were dispatched a week last friday, they had to go through 2 sets of customs to get here(i dont live in the uk:eek:), and they arrived yesterday. That was really fast considering i live in the back of beyond.:D They should be with you in the next couple of days. I havent got any customs charge yet, but going from other posts here, others havent been charged.

I love my boots, ive worn them all day today, i took them off yesterday teatime and i was freezing cold last night, so have learnt my lesson:rotfl:

Thanks for that, I suppose they'll be here sooner or later...I'll just have to brave it outside in the cold for a little while longer, looking forward to the day my babies arrive to keep me warm hehe :D

Rosy Pink, I have been following this thread for ages, and I have noticed that in every single one of your posts you mention a certain website. I strongly suspect that you are advertising your own website, and further, I think you have been talking to yourself in several of your posts!!

Anyway, I have bought boots from the following places:

snugaustralia.com.au. CRAP!!! Do not waste your money. The boots (whilst not claiming to be uGg branded boots) are terrible quality and their aftersales is non existent. They do the old 'ignoring emails' trick.

aussiedirect. I got some chestnut "uGgs" form there at a reasonable price- and I am fairly pleased with the quality... until-

Cozyboots.com. Fantastic. V. quick service, they replied to my emails very quickly and politely. The boots I bought (black and brown uGgs) are FAR superior to the aussiedirect ones, and are lovely quality.

so far no customs charge (yet... it's been 2 weeks now since the boots from Cozyboots were delivered by Fedex, so I'm not out of the woods yet).

Hi Finch - my husband always accuses me of talking to myself!

Sorry if you think i've been going on, I was just very greatful that I got what I wanted from the said company, and I think you will agree at a great price.

I checked out cozy.boots and Celtic Sheepskin, but they didn't have any kid's sizes in stock - glad we are toasty warm in ours - no tax bill to worry about either!!
