I ordered some Canterbury boots from Hartings on the 20th November but they haven't arrived yet. It says to allow up to 14 days for delivery on the website. Has anyone else had to wait so long?
Yeah, mine took the full 2 weeks to be delivered too, but they are well worth the wait“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
Pleased you got the boots you wanted but checked this site out and postage to UK seems steep.
I got uggs from Taylors in the USA got them shipped to a friends in USA (free) she posted them on to me took a week to get here and that cost $16 without box.0 -
Rosy Pink, I have been following this thread for ages, and I have noticed that in every single one of your posts you mention a certain website. I strongly suspect that you are advertising your own website, and further, I think you have been talking to yourself in several of your posts!!
Anyway, I have bought boots from the following places:
snugaustralia.com.au. CRAP!!! Do not waste your money. The boots (whilst not claiming to be uGg branded boots) are terrible quality and their aftersales is non existent. They do the old 'ignoring emails' trick.
aussiedirect. I got some chestnut "uGgs" form there at a reasonable price- and I am fairly pleased with the quality... until-
Cozyboots.com. Fantastic. V. quick service, they replied to my emails very quickly and politely. The boots I bought (black and brown uGgs) are FAR superior to the aussiedirect ones, and are lovely quality.
so far no customs charge (yet... it's been 2 weeks now since the boots from Cozyboots were delivered by Fedex, so I'm not out of the woods yet).0 -

On the website it says the code can be found on the order form included with the catalogue, which I've now sent off for, but I want to place an order asap and not sure how long it will take for the catalogue to arrive
Hiya...I have a catalogue here, well i have 2 as I had 2 orders from there. I have looked for you but there is no code anywhere on the order form on either of them.0 -
Hi Sweetcake,
I have had several things sent from USA by my sister in law, she just puts on the box gift and no charges are incurred for importing.
HTHIf this has helped you please don't forget to click Thanks, thankyou.0 -

Just to let you know that BootBarn have new stock of various styles available.
Postage is reasonable at $35 but expect to pay around 25% import duty.
I bought some tall classics in black from there a couple of weeks ago and found their service to be excellent.
There's also a 20% discount code available if anyone's interested?
Delivery is quick!
Youre a star, i just managed to get what i have been looking for, was going to get a US7 but my sister in law is a UK5-6 so just ordered the US6 as thats all they had.
Who delivered them did you get customs? That discount code makes a lot of difference. :T0 -

hi, do you know who your friend used to send them to you and did you get charged customs? my grandparents live in the u.s.a and i was thinking of doing the same:o
Hi
If I remember correctly I believe she used US Airmail. I asked her to avoid the other carriers as I heard about the possible custom charges on the forum.
I did stress not to post them in the original box or any box (I remember her commenting that it was a shame not to have the box, but I said not if it is going to cost me £40!!) as I thought it might attract attention at the customs. I didn't get caught with custom charges so I got my Chestnut Talls for £71 plus about £8 postage quite a considerable saving.0 -

I wonder if they only do them at certain times then
Gone back to check the site again and it says:If you have received a PROMOTIONAL OFFER CODE please enter it here. The code can be found in the top right hand corner of the order form in the last page of our catalogue.
ETA: Post has just come and delivered my catalogue and the letter included is offering a code for free P&P :T would have preferred an x% off code but never mind. There is a box on the top right of the order form which is blank, so I assume this is where they write in a code if they're going to offer you one.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
