flight delay 36hr notice

Hi.
Hope someone can help\advise.
We were due to fly back from SA to London tomorrow but have been advised this morning by AirFrance that the flight has been pushed back 3 hrs but will mean we will now miss our connection, with airfrance again from Paris to London leaving us in Paris for over 10 hours.
Does anyone know given we have been told 36 hours ahead of time what if anything are they obliged to do?
