No. I do it all the time. Some iphones apparently lock to the network of the first sim used, but yours is at a more basic level.0

Ok thanks.
The second question i was about to ask was delight mobile does not have a monthly contract, and if unhappy he could just leave anytime.
And just by replacing the delight sim with another network sim would be straight forward.
Your answer has helped.:T0 -
Delight is PAYG, not pay monthly, so no tie-in. To change the network, you just change the SIM, as long as the phone is unlocked. Or ask for a PAC if you wish to port the number over.No free lunch, and no free laptop

He has about 4 quid left on a broken tesco mobile phone, lite tariff. Could he try this sim on the new samsung? would that mean his tesco number would come on to the samsung.:T0 -

Might as well use it up till the delight sim arrives.:T0 -
One thing you might like to know.
While the £10 "starter credit" on a Vodafone PAYG SIM goes after a month, subsequent credit lasts more or less for ever (subject to a chargeable call every few months).
Vodafone are not best value for PAYG but they are better than the initial experience would lead you to believe !0 -
I just keep using free sims with credit on them hardly ever pay for calls or texts. I had OVivo for ages then the Sainsburys changeover deal from Ovivo when it went bust ie $15 free credit - then People's Operator - then Sainsbury's then Asda - then a new one I cannot remember but got 3 sims all with a fiver on. It does mean lots of different numbers but also free calls and texts/ I've been doing this for over 2 years now. Just need to keep looking on here and Ukhotdeals for free sims. Sometimes also get topcashback for Quidco too. I also keep a Salisbury's PAYG phone so I keep a number people know but call back on the free sim!!0

Of course, you could always use a cashback contract where you can get everything not only free but also make a profit... IF you know what you're doing. No more messing around than what you're doing and a lot more efficient.0
