Hi Chaps and chapesses, A word of caution. I have just switched energy supplier (Thank you MSE) but my current deal taken through MSE a year ago apparently ran out on 10 September with EON (who are very nice). So between that date and the next switch date when BGas will take the metre reading will be charged at standard rate. the MSE webpage advised that my deal runs out on 26 October but according to EOn that's not true. To be fair to Eon they have offered £5 to cover the difference whilst I am on the standard tariff but wont cover the difference whilst switching.
My advice is check when your deal runs out on your statement. You might not have as much time as you think to switch...0 -
I have just switched from the Feb 2017 BG collective to this Oct 2017 BG collective.
The 3 comparisons were shown for my account. On my heavy consumption I will save £30 pa on the new tariff calculated against 12 months consumption on the Feb 2017 tariff. The £30 from MSE will be in addition to that saving.0 -

I think they term that GIGO.;)
It's up to you to put the correct end date in your CEC account.
Also, you would have been advised by a long time ago (7-8 weeks ago) by Eon that your tariff was ending, and when.0 -
It seems that the Forum is the first place to look, not the last.
How did you feel when the big fix with BG ended?
Hung out to dry?
One person on a thread said, reduced DD to£18, Do they live in a Wendy House?
BG put up mine by 50%,=£58 rightly as I wasn't paying enough, now £112.0
