But if they have already processed your request then they may be reluctant to reverse it without substantial proof that there really is an issue. That proof may not be available until 15 days after the due delivery date, as I mentioned earlier.0 -
Just a thought: since the price the OP paid almost certainly doesn't include VAT or duty, would that push the price over £100 per item for the purposes of S75, assuming that the OP would be paying that via the importing courier?0

I don't know the answer to that, but if the OP got charged vat (and duty if appropriate) by customs, that would tend to indicate that the goods are very likely to be delivered so there couldn't be a claim for non-delivery. I dont think customs would make a difference as the act refers to(b)so far as the claim relates to any single item to which the supplier has attached a cash price not exceeding [F2£100] or more than [F3£30,000][F4, or]
The cash price attached by the retailer in this instance is less than £100.
There is also the issue that in a section 75 claim, it only gives you a claim against the credit provider if you have one against the supplier. If its not a UK company, then you wouldn't have UK consumer rights - unless they agree to be governed by english or scottish law.You keep using that word. Well chaps, got up this morning checked the to see if I had a message from golf club supplier, and I'm more than happy to say I had a message telling me the transaction never took place as there appears a problem with my card! I've checked my card and no payments have gone out, I assume if I had paid at 7pm last night it would should on my credit card details, would it not??
On the face of it, it appears I have been very lucky, and won't be out of pocket,

Sounds like your bank caught the transaction. Make sure that card is actually working as they might have cancelled itDo you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0
