EE contract, Want to Cancel Ex's Phone

A sim card can only be cancelled if it was ordered from the EE tech department direct. Otherwise it should be suspended (again by Tech) until the new sim card is activated.
If you got the sim card in store they can't cancel / suspend the old sim unless they activate the new one straight away - from what I understand very few stores will actually do this for you.0
