It says to sent it by post, or it can be sent by online at appealyourcharge.co.uk ?
Not even sure if that is legit or if it is even their website??

If it's an either/or of the two above, personally I'd settle for posting it with certificate of posting. You could also send a duplicate by any of the electronic means too - you've a couple of bases covered then. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Do both. Appeal online and send a paper copy from a Post Office with free certificate of posting. Keep copies of all correspondence whether paper or electronic. If you are unsure about screenshots, you can always take a picture or video of your computer screen as you send the appeal.
Don't miss the appeal deadline. I would advise using the template appeal letter in the NEWBIES thread because it has been tried and tested, and is simpler than generating your own where you run the risk of outing the driver.I married my cousin. Hello again!
I have received an email correspondence offering me to appeal with IAS. There was no offer of appeal to the POPLA, as advised in the NEWBIES FAQ thread.. do I now refuse all correspondence from G24 and their 'debt collectors' ? what next step should be followed?
"- if this is an IPC member parking firm, the point of appealing is merely for the keeper to 'appear reasonable' by stating their case and complaining to the retailers/landowners, in an attempt to get it cancelled. But if that does not work you will get a rejection letter from the parking firm offering IAS. DO NOT BOTHER WITH SECOND STAGE APPEAL IF POPLA IS NOT OFFERED, JUST SOAK UP THE DEBT COLLECTOR LETTERS KNOWING YOU'VE STATED YOUR CASE AND ONLY START A NEW THREAD IF YOUR PPC (not debt collector) SENDS A 'LETTER BEFORE CLAIM' OR STARTS A CLAIM."
As quoted from the Newbies FAQ. Just wanted confirmation that this means what I think it means in terms of refusing any more contact with G24 and 'debt collectors' .
Kind regards

G24 belong to the IPC not the BPA and so you were never going to get the option of POPLA.
You now have a choice - waste some of your own time and G24's money by appealing to the IAS but it really is a corrupt kangaroo court.
Or just ignore these shysters ..... I've ignored their utterly fake invoices for years now. You only need to deal with REAL court papers which you won't get. Indeed when I spoke to G24 to point out they'd never done court the reply from the moron on the phone was 'Like I give a **it'.
They'll go away eventually after wasting their money on pointless letters."The darkest places in hell are reserved for those who maintain their neutrality in times of moral crisis." - Dante Alighieri0 -
Thank you very much! I shall now ignore them =]
What does a 'Kangaroo Court' mean?? Saw someone put it earlier! Haha
Thanks for your help0 -
Kangaroo court
A kangaroo court is a judicial tribunal or assembly that blatantly disregards recognized standards of law or justice, and often carries little or no official standing in the territory within which it resides. Wikipedia
kangaroo court
(n.) a court where the outcome is pre-determined by the reputation of the defendant, and the trial shall not be fair. Justiceless. Kangroo courts can swing either way, but oen side of the arguement will be completely disregarded.
Origin of kangaroo court
any crudely or irregularly operated court, especially one so controlled as to render a fair trial impossible.

On 31st May 2017 we received a Contractual Parking Charge Notice from G24 for a purported incident on 13th May 2017 - the notice was dated 24th May2017. We had received no windscreen notice or seen any sign that parking control was in operation. We had parked outside The Cancer Research shop in Stevenage (I've just gone through breast cancer for the 2nd time but now have the all clear) and after visiting the shop we crossed the road to another shop, having first both checked if there were any restrictions/time limits for the parking. Seeing none, we carried on to a couple of other shops. The parking area and shop are both new, the shop having opened only a couple of months ago. We returned yesterday to check signage and there are now signs on every available post, on the walls of the shops etc!! In other words, you can't miss them but we don't believe they were there when the alleged offence occurred. The Notice states the fine as £100 but when you read down the small print it then says if you pay within 14 days it is £60!!! I've read the Newbie thread and drafted an appeal using the template for an IPC member - should I submit this or just ignore the notice?0

Wow this is a 2015 thread, where did you dredge it up from? Google, I assume (grrr, such threads are too old and mislead people).
You need to click where my signature below tells you to, and get to page one, read the NEWBIES FAQS thread first, then only start a new thread if you need to. We have new threads every day here, dozens of them, and about G24 as well.
Also search this forum for 'G24' by using the search facility on page one of this board, level with the 'NEW THREAD' button but along on the right just above the NEWBIES thread at the top of the list there on the first page. Search the forum!
Start there and forget this archive thread from 2015.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD0 -
OK. 1st problem couldn't see your signature so no idea where to click. 2nd, can't find the newbies faqs - did see them before but can't find them now, 3rd problem can't find where to post a new thread!!!!0
