Ditching BT

I am on FTTC and my home phone is with BT, however my internet is with an independant ISP who I am very happy with.
Due to the massive hikes in the BT line rental & call charges I am looking into the possibility of switching my home phone only, to another provider (The Post Office or DST) while remaining with my current ISP.
Is this feasable, or do I have to switch my internet as well ?
Chris

Just pick a supplier like BT that do line rental only .0

But the OP wants to leave BT...
To keep your current ISP you'll need to find a BT-based phone provider (I.e non-LLU) who offers phone and line rental only.No free lunch, and no free laptop

does your current ISP do phone lines too?
EE does both for example0
