Morning all :hello: Trying to get DD back into a school routine, she doesn't go back until the 4th but trying to get her moving some mornings is like trying to move a moutain

Need to crack on so I've got dailies, I NEED to clean the bathroom as it didn't get done last week (one of those, well if Nicki doesn't do it it doesn't need doing jobs  ), and I have at least 3 loads of washing. I'm just hoping the showers stay off long enough for me to get jeans & towels dried  So my edited list is :

    Manic Monday - Kitchen
    Level One
    Clean floor
    Level Two
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
    Level Three
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
[strike]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky [/strike] fine for now.
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [strike]Clean oven (if it needs it)[/strike]
    • [strike]Set a target for this week of putting dark clothes straight in the washer, just lights in the basket, might just help you keep on top of the laundry, worth a try ?[/strike]I do a load of whatever needs washing daily so not too bad ;)
    • Clean under small appliances
    • [strike]Give pans a good thorough clean (and where they are stored)[/strike] all clean already :D
Right, off to clean the bathroom and then put first load of washing on once I've checked my hotmail
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Hello for another week!

Nicki - sorry to hear of your split. Hope you can sort an arrangement that suits the 3 of you.

Shirley Park - where's the wedding? We're at on on Friday too :j DD is being an usher, and it should be fun.

Michelle - hugs for today - he'll be fine!

Pigpen - hope our back is better.

In the last couple of days - this is what I've done:

    Lightbulbs - changed
    Breadcrumbs - made
    DS’s trainers – bought
    Compost bin – emptied
Library books – returned and collected
    Ironing – done
Baking – sponge cake and Rocky Road

We spent much of the weekend in the garden, digging potatoes and onions, and harvesting tomatoes, courgettes, cucumber, beans. I need to freeze some beans and sweetcorn in the next couple of days.

Plan to have a go on the dining room today.

Have a good one, Penny. x

    Morning all,

Thought I'd post the list properly this week, and write down what number I posted it on so I can find it again, cos although the powerpoint thing was useful, I never ended up finishing more than 2 of the days last week. So here goes - I cheated a bit, as I did these last night before bed.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One

    Clean floors
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances[/STRIKE]
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)[/STRIKE] N/A
    Level Three
[STRIKE]Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round[/STRIKE] N/A
[STRIKE]Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky[/STRIKE] It was ok still.
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean oven (if it needs it)

Off to get dressed now, and eat some brekkie. Have already called the temp agency to say that I'm free Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week, and so I may possibly be doing silver service at Fontwell Racecourse for Lady's Day on Thursday (1pm-10.30pm at £5.35/hr) if they can't find anyone who is trained in silver service by tomorrow. She will call me tomorrow to confirm.

Will check in later on after I've completed another task.

    Sexymouse xx

    Morning all

One load of washing done and out on the line.

Defrosted freezer and it's turned back on, when it's cold enough I can move stuff back from the other freezer. Shopping coming tomorrow so I want to get it all sorted out. I'm always nervous defrosting the freezer because it's so old (at least 20 years) and I'm scared it won't turn back on! The newer fridge freezer is frost free, I made sure of that.

All worktops wiped now, small appliances wiped over and under. Just got to vacuum the floor.

I'm hoping to do some of the living room today. When I've got shopping being delivered I never feel like doing much else so it will be good to get ahead for tomorrow.

I've also turned the beds back and opened all the windows upstairs to air, cleaned the bathroom properly ( ), dishes & the first wash load is just finishing :D See it is sooo much easier if you keep ontop of things :j Would have taken me DAYS to get the kitchen back to "normal" usually in the holidays/post illness past :D I think I may even have time to play some games on the 'net today before I tackle finances :D:T

Right, off to hang washing out (Crossing everything that it stays dry :rotfl: ) and then I'll hoover & mop the kitchen floor.

I've vacuumed the kitchen floor now and through the hallway. Dusted computer desk (in hallway). Moved all furniture in living room and swapped about. It will only go two ways but I like a change now and then. Dusted everywhere and vacuumed ALL the floor (not just the bits that show ;)). Dusted my ornament shelf - must have all ornaments looking towards the window - so they can see.............I know, mad!

Best add that to my online one in a mo. Rains easing off a little, wonder if that means I will be able to get something dry outside or am I playing hokey cokey with washing all day! Welcome back Kyle, hope everything goes ok getting LOs back to school. FrugalJo I think it might just be giant spiders, there is one roaming somewhere behind my fireplace now I think, DP tried to catch it last night but went to move the pint glass (it's legs stuck out the sides) and it legged it! Was so big you could hear it walking/running! Bibbitybob I won't mention the still being in bed (lucky thing!) but hope you enjoy the first full week.
One day I might be more organised...........
