It's annoying when the council won't help your good intentions, it annoys me that they frown on fly-tipping and encourage recycling, but won't take anything that isn't in a black bag or that fits in the bin. Some people are threatened with fines here even if the lid of the wheelie bin won't close! :eek:

Okay I have a couple of goals I want to hit as soon as possible, the first is to clear my CC below £2,000, at the moment it is £2,445 and the minimum requested payment is about £50, I am trying to throw an extra £50 per month at it now and hope to clear this quickly. Secondly I want to lose 11 pounds to get me to 19 stone and something! I would like to lose 4 pounds by the end of December and then another 7 pounds in January.

How soon do people think I can get below £2,000?

are you just going to put the extra £50 a month to it or do you plan on putting more as and when you get it? can you do that with your type of card? diet ohhh that is one we have discussed so many times i am having the exact same issues so might join you on those two challenges if you dont mind ...my visa is sitting at £3000 and £3500

El I think £100 is the most I can ever throw at this, obviously the more I pay off the more of this is going to be going off the capital - if I DO get any extra money I am throwing that at it as well (even a pound or so!).

Weight - Okay join me in losing 11 lb by the end of January?

i looked at the 11lb by the end of january and went eeekkk ...but you know what big breath in you are right i have to do it if i am going on the w.h.w and i plan on doing that so you are on ..... and i will try and match you with the visa as well it will take me longer than you as i owe more but we can be company for each other on the way ...a journey is always more fun when there is more than one taking it
