That's a success then as you killed two birds with one stone.0

Out of the three boxes that Dr Dragon brought down one contained his computer magazines so he has cleared those and another (the one with the cook books in) was half filled with gardening mags and so they have also gone out! I have three years worth of Good Food to go through but they may have to wait as we are running out of room in the re-cycling box :rotfl:
Other news, we went to the Council offices taking one piece of outstanding information they had asked for and then they asked for something else , still that is all done - now to wait to see if they will grant us Council Tax benefit! Dr Dragon got a letter from the DWP that on one page says he is getting Contributions Based JSA then further on it says he is getting Income Based :undecided:confused:Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup

Sorry to hear that you are still in pain Dragon.
The jobcentre don't know their a*rse from their elbow I am afraid, they did the same to me and then I found that I was on contribution based and then had to change and re-apply for income-based JSA. Well at least I don't have to bother visiting them to sign on any more I do it at the chamber instead.
If you are a member of freecycle - freecycle your old magazines, folks just love them no matter how old they are.:eek:0 -
I hate council/benefit oiffices with a passion!!!..they never know what they're doing.0

Hmmm well Dr Dragon is either going to phone them tomorrow OR he will take the letter when he goes to sign on (Thursday afternoon) and get THEM to explain it!Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with catsup
