Thank heavens for a good credit rating for both me and Dr Dragon, Dr Dragon's bank has just extended his over draft facility by about 6 times! This means that we do not have any problem paying for any of the bills this month and by the time the bills come through next month things should (hopefully!) be sorted out and we just need to start building up the savings and kill my CC again.

  • Good news about the overdraft then, it will certainly help in the short term.

Okay an update, after legal advice (due to Dr Dragon's lawyers not talking to our lawyers) Dr Dragon tendered his resignation citing constructive dismissal, we discovered over the weekend though that his company had gone buump (probably why the lawyers weren't talking to ours!) and we now have no idea where we stand!

We know they have received the letter, BUT are they authorised to accept it, as this was received AFTER they went bump does Dr Dragon still get redundancy? What happens about signing on at the DWP?

    Aaaargh!
