Still no movement on the sock :rotfl:, hopefully a friend will help me out on that on Wednesday! hmm or maybe tomorrow , weight is back to the highest it has ever been and that is from medication so not happy there - but in other news I am 184 days into my 101 in 1001 challenge and I have 49 items done and another couple nearly done :eek:

The main one for this is getting rid of my Orange contract and going onto PAYG (and they tried really hard to get me to stay!), so after the final payment goes out for that next month (have to give a month's notice) then I can start throwing the £25 I have been paying for that at my CC and start to get rid of that

I go away with Dr Dragon on Saturday for a week - so I wonder if I can clear another couple of items off my listing before then!

Well I walked around Cambridge a bit too much yesterday and hoooooo boy am I suffering for it today! So I have done the bare minimum and I plan to stitch! Oh and meet a good friend for dinner at the pub I can see from the front door :rotfl:

No knitting help happened, my friend is changing jobs and has a week off in between so we are going to sort the knitting of the socks out then (can't turn a heel for love not money :rotfl:), we had a great evening though catching up!

Thanks BOB, actually I was enjoying knitting the sock until I got to the heel , we decided against "Turning a heel 101" in the pub as we go away this weekend and I would have forgotten what she told me by the time we got back :rotfl:, especially as I was under the afluence of incahol at the time . So drat and darn an afternoon in another pub learning the intricacies it is

I have been keeping up with diaries but not posting an awful lot - sorry about that!

Absolutely fine thank you , I am one of those annoying people that don't get hangovers :rotfl: - actually we didn't have that much - after all Dr Dragon had to drag himself to work this morning. Where as me, I plan to

1. Get a parcel ready
2. Write some postcards for Postcrossing
3. Go to the Post Office and post them all
4. Get some sausages and spuds for sos, mash and onion gravy
5. Get up to date on mail and go no mail on yahoo groups!

i am wondering whether you would have done better turning a heel under the influence of alcofrol or not???
I like knitting but wouldn't consider knitting socks i have to admit.
Are you near Cambridge? Reading that you went there i thought 'oh she'd can't live too far from me' but you may have gone for a special trip.
