Car towed for parking by dropped kerb- please help
Comments

A dropped kerb definitely includes the sloping kerbstones that make up the height transition, but councils do not usually enforce parking regulations in front of these for private dwellings unless a complaint has been made to them.
Pedestrian access routes are another matter.
It maybe that the home owner has got the rats and reported you.
Though as stated before Pepipoo is the place for this one.0 -
Hillingdon class the slope as part of the dropped kerb
http://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/article/7310/Parking-enforcement-of-dropped-kerbs as does Waltham Forest. Just 2 quickly found on a Google search, so there is a good bet that a lot of other councils do as well.
It makes sense to class the whole of the kerb adaption as the dropped kerb. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
