I think the Data Protection Act would prevent them from being this co-operative
Almost by definition, if it's abandoned, chances are they don't have any owner details anyway.0 -
Councils will want to see abandoned properties being reused - data protection wouldn't prevent them giving addresses they believed to be abandoned so someone could then do their own research at Land Registry.
