unable to verify identity ?

Hi
I am concerned that i don't appear to exist which is worrying !
I was looking at credit cards to take abroad and i used the eligibility checker on here and on my bank's website both are showing indicating that they cannot verify my identity and that no information is held on me.
i am on the electoral register and i have had a credit check done this year when i changed my mobile phone account. i have banked with the same bank for more than 15 years so i am a bit confused as to why they can't verify me .
any advice would be appreciated.
thanks

Your need to obtain copies of your credit report from all 3 agencies to see if you are actually showing as being registered on the electoral roll. It will cost £2 per report. You can check Noddle (Call Credit) for free.
You should also check to see that your bank account and mobile phone are being reported and shown on your files too.

Hi Thanks for this
tried noodle it was saying it was unable to find any data0 -
I've just had the same problem, Equifax didn't have me on the electoral roll which they have rectified and they have updated their system. Experien were fine but noddle can't find me. As my credit score is really good I took a chance anyway and applied for a credit card and was turned down, I'm really !!!!ed as this will be a black mark against me. I moved 4 months ago and this seems to have caused heaps of problems0
