Stoneacre 'lifetime warranty'

So after numerous unanswered e-mails and one very frustrating phone call today I would like to save anyone the same hassle and DISGUSTING service that you get when buying a car from Stoneacre. I pay £50 a month for a lifetime warranty (I know, don't tell me) yet after taking my car to local garage to find out it has a coolant leak of some description (washers or casing) which if not fixed urgently could result in a blown head gasket (lots of £££) their willingness to uphold their end of the bargain was once again lacking. After speaking to her 'service manager' we were told it would cost £54 just to get the car seen by someone - diagnostics apparently (didn't need this last time I had a problem but was once quoted £70 for diagnostics so some inconsistencies there) despite the fact I was able to tell them where about the problem was. I asked to cancel the warranty, she didn't think this was possible. When asked if this would be covered by my warranty and if i would void the warranty by having the work done somewhere else (that i trust) she 'didn't know. We asked to speak to the service manager who all of a sudden was unavailable due to staff training and have been promised an e-mail containing the information we are requesting before the end of tomorrow. I pay £50 a month for this service on a 5 year contract, what am I paying for!?
Anyone able to offer advice with regards to my rights (I am after all paying for a service which is not being provided), I believe this warranty has been missold as they are not providing the service they said they would!
Please help if you can!

Without that information, it is difficult to answer your questions.
Can you perhaps tell us who you are paying this £50 to? Do they have a website? Are their T&Cs available online?0 -
How old is the car? Does the warranty cover wear and tear? Is this a business vehicle? there are important questions you need to answer.
Most car warranties aren't worth the paper they are written on because of all the get out clauses they contain.0 -

You are paying for whatever the warranty says it covers and nothing else.
Most vehicle warranties carefully exclude anything that is ever likely to go wrong. Such things are generally declared to be "consumables".
It wouldn't surprise me at all if the warranty excluded anything that's been modified or replaced by somebody else. That actually seems quite reasonable. If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0
