UKPC: Notice to Keeper

Hello,
Some advice please. I have been issued with 2 separate x £100 pound parking charges from UKPC. They have photos of the car parked in a road next to John Lewis Cambridge where their deliveries are made. We were picking up an employee from here, so were pulled over for no more than 5 mins. No parking charge was issued to us while pulled in here. I have appealed using the template on the forum. I cannot find out who UKPC are working for, I cannot believe this road can be private land! What should I do next? Any help with a POPLA appeal would be very helpful. This worries me a great deal, how can they do this?
Many thanks

Do not worry to much about UKPC, it is they who should be worried.

Esmerobbo that link is Sheffield, the OP said this happened in Cambridge!
Joules97 if this is the road, St Tibb's Row, it looks to be private property by the sign, but not at all clear or well signed, like most UKPC sites!

This is a site/area I know well. Can check Monday if this would help.
op - you definitely mean the John Lewis Click and Collect depot at the back of the P&R, not Trumpington Waitrose further down the road?

St Tibbs Row is right in town, with their Grand Arcade department store, curving round to Lion Yard. It is a public road. Any pcn here would be issued by city council traffic wardens.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

Hi All,
Yes this is the road, St Tibbs Row. My NTK's are saying stopping in a prohibited area, Grand Arcade, 4th Floor, St Andrews Street, CB2 3BJ. But obviously it wasnt the car park. They just have a picture of the back of my car. But we had pulled in St Tibbs Row to pick up my daughter after work. So how do we stand? I've tried to find out if this is a private road but cannot find out who their so called client is. Its not John Lewis, Grand Arcade or the Multi Storey car park. If it is a public road how can they be issuing these tickets. As said before I've sent off 2 appeals just waiting for my POPLA codes! Any help with what I should then put in this appeal would be helpful. Because they haven't really stated where the car is can I use this in the appeal. To be honest as its just the back of the car it could be anywhere! How can I find out if this is private land or indeed a public road. I need to go back in and look at the signs and take picture, obviously I didn't even see them. Many thanks0 -
When you come to appeal, you will ask for proof that this area is coverd by the PPC's contract with landowner and that you require them to produce proof of this to POPLA.
You will get to see the evidence prior to the hearing and will know landowner then, if not before.0 -
