Teletext Holiday Complaint

In brief, teletext charged us for transfers that we never got. We were advised to pay for taxis and keep receipts and complain when we got home at the time we were told our return transfers were fine well guess what they werent and again after a phone call we were told the same complain when you get home. So 6 taxis later at a cost of 257 euros plus the original booking transfer of £126 we are out of pocket and peeved to say the least.
Essentially the booking agent made a mistake on our return date but she called to advise us and said she would change it, what she ended up doing was creating another booking and not moving the transfers across hence us them not being there when we arrived.
I wrote a letter of complaint on the 2nd August with supporting evidence and apart from an automated response from them 2 days later I have heard nothing. I have just rang the customer relations number and was told I would hear something in a few days. After now reading lots of reviews I actually doubt I will.
So my question is should I not hear from them what are the next steps for me to reclaim my money?
Any help, info or guidance would be very much appreciated.
Many thanks

Give them a little more time.
Then research small claims court.
Then send a "letter before action" with a 14 day deadline and see if that gets a response.
Good luck.0 -
They are a Travel Trust Association member, even though they naughtily use ABTA's line 'Book with Confidence' I believe that if Truly Travel, the company providing the holiday does not respond, and 28 days should be long enough since the only investigation is inside their own office, you can make a complaint to the TTA. I would hate to work at Teletext's customer service department (assuming they have one) based on the level of complaints seen on this forum0

Many thanks to you both. I shall give them some more time and fingers crossed it gets sorted without further action. If not then I now have routes to follow0

Two booking references
Needless to say I haven't had a reply back to an email I sent yesterday asking for an update.
Never known customer service like it0 -

You might care to use the Private Message facility to contact the Teletext representative on this site, and perhaps edit your post to remove the booking reference.0 -
