I did really need it as i dont have any really warm coats and its been freezing recently. I cant believe how much i apriciate it, before my lbm i would do this a few times in a week and not think anything of it.

Hi! Fingers crossed for a good result - I've got a really good feeling about it for you. Hopefully your OH will just have to tolerate Christmas at home!!!

About the Mint card - are they offering the 0% on purchases, or is it just balance transfers? A few months ago we got a 0% 12 month card from HSBC (yes, the same bankers who refused to port our mortgage gave us £20k a few months ago. Grrrr!). Anyway, we had a loan at 10.9% which I wanted to transfer, same as you.

We did it by technically 'selling' my car to DH, and making the payment through Paypal for £5,000. We had to pay the Paypal fees on that, but it wasn't any worse than the 3% balance transfer fee would have been. If you've already got one Paypal account it's quite easy to open another to send the cash through. Might not be the best plan for everyone, but worth considering!

Hmmm, KFC! We've had a few BOGOF Big Macs over the past few weeks, but I'm sick of them. As soon as this baby is out, I NEED to join you on a diet challenge of some sort (I used breastfeeding as an excuse not to diet the last time, but to be honest I don't think that if I cut out chocolate, take-aways and cheese that the quality of milk will suffer too much, will it?!). Although with a bit of luck, you'll have reason not to go on a diet for the next 9 months! I feel totally different about trying to lose a bit of weight this time - think it's this site's influence! ZTD is right that dieting is a waste of time, and that we really need to just sort out our lifestyle instead. It worked with the finances so hopefully it'll work with the diet as well - and then think of all the extra cash we can all earn as supermodels!

Its about time i update this properly, i seem to have neglected things on here recently. my sig needs updating as my olympic challenge is up to £243.00, i dont quite dare try to change it right now though.

oh has banned me from hula-hooping as he didnt think it went too well with the fertility treatment. waiting to find out if its worked is driving me mad i guess im just impatient. think ive been driving my oh mad with it too. ive felt like ive been falling apart recently, i just wish it could be my turn. sometimes i feel like i cant get pregnant because im a bad person or ive done something wrong. ive been thinking that i will go into counselling if this doesnt work as i dont know how i will cope.

sorry for being so down, it just feels so easy to say it all on here.

Oh goodness Lunar, please don't think that your problems getting pregnant are some sort of punishment. Nothing could be further from the truth. You haven't done anything wrong at all hun. (((hug)))

You are going through an awful lot, and I'm pretty sure it's perfectly natural to feel down. The waiting must be excruciating. I hope so much that it will all be worth it for you.

Don't forget, you have also got an awful lot of mood altering hormones flooding through you at the moment, so just go easy on yourself and let your lovely (I know I don't know him, but he sounds lovely from what I have read) OH take care of you.

    Thinking of you xxx

no! no, no, no, no, no! You seem to be anything but a bad person and even if you were, horrible people get pregnant all the time. Sadly it often seems to me that the people who would make the best parents and want it the most are the ones who find it hardest and then I see all the time at school people who didn't really want children and don't bother with them who have them at the drop of a hat (actually, my sister is one of these).

I remember myself how hard it is to wait (I might have been debt free sooner if not obsessed with ovulation and pregnancy tests) and I imagine it is even harder in your case. Is there anything you can be keeping yourself busy with (apart from hula-hooping??)

I think the cost of the treatment is getting me down too, i used to spend a fortune on ovulation kits too, but now at £3000 for each try it just makes me feel more of a faliur. I begged my consultant to implant 3-4 embreos but our wonderful government have stuck there nose in and its the law that in this country they will only implant 2. im sorry but the risk of multiple pregnancies is so low, as is the hope of conciving at all. we just cant go on forever paying for this treatment.

My OH is just being so good with everything, hes really helping me to get through it. I just wish i didnt feel as if i was letting him down. I know one day i will have a child wether its biological or adopted. at the moment im not sure i have it in me to keep going with the treatment if this doesnt work.

thanks snaggles and chocaholic for your support, it means so much to me.

    Hi Lunar
Just read your diary from the beginning and I just wanted to say that I really hope things work out for you this time round, I can imagine the waiting must be really hard.
Don't really know what else to say, but just wanted you to know that there's someone else out here thats thinking about you.

Thanks Natlou, i dont know why but it really does help having support on here. I think its because i can just be honest with my feelings. its hard with friends and family you sort of feel like you have to put on a front as they dont know what to do if im upset. i dont want them avoiding me because they dont know what to say so sometimes its easier to pretend.
