  • UU:

13/141. S&G Sugar Crush Body Wash 250ml - as with the body butter, this was fine for the price paid but I prefer the other scents so wouldn't go out of my way to repurchase unless in a very good sale.

Probably my final UU of the month, September has been pretty slow going since my hols but I'm optimistic for October as I have a few overnights away and am also hoping that some of my current full sizes will come to the end.

2 more UUs, taking me to the 7 I was hoping to get this month - even though one wasn't on the list of things I thought I'd get through, and 1 I had expected to be done with now looks like it will survive into next month with dregs !!

On Tuesday evening I finished my night cream (one item I had expected to UU this month). Q10 Innovations, which I think came from H0me Bargains / Qu@lity Save. Quite like (goes on easily), but still not convinced day and/or night creams make a difference. Replaced with a full pot of the same, and have at least two more full (but different) night creams in the house beyond that...

Thursday morning I finished off the toothpaste I've been using in the en-suite (another I expected to report as a UU this month). Replaced with a small (50ml) one which has already been well used - probably less than a quarter left in it.

  • Hi guys,

    A few UU for September:
5x Garnier day cream sample sachets
2x Boots Extracts strawberry body wash 75ml
The highland soap company white jasmine soap

    Some INs:
6x Hershey's lipbalms in a lovely gift tin. DH insisted :)
2x Lancôme samples, mini serum and moisturiser.

Sadly, balanced themselves out lol. Another few things on their way out though. Getting really low on shower gel!

Have a good weekend all :)
  • Evening all, mass of UUs here:

Timotei Vivid Colour shampoo, and conditioner
Boots Extracts coconut butter body wash
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • Hi everyone, some ins and UU to report.

By the sounds of it I must keep out of boots for the foreseeable!! I'm loving the sound of the extracts spiced apple range, I love boots extracts stuff and i love the body shop Apple stuff so this will probably work its way into my stash at some point! later rather than sooner hopefully!!

I have two naughty ins. Imperial leather marshmallow and fruit salad shower creams. They caught my eye and after sniffing I had to have them. Ashamed to say I also paid full price rather than waiting for them to go down to a quid :o:o:o

Also some UU to report thankfully!!

body shop satsuma shower gel 250ml - WBA this lasts for quite a while, smells gorgeous and is a nice consistency. Lathers up well too considering its soap free! And the scent lingers on your skin for ages. Love love love love love!! I've replaced it with the imperial leather fruit salad as I just couldn't wait to try it out.

right guard total defence 5 invisible deodorant - Wmba this was one I used in my overnight bag at work (I work sleep ins 3x a week) and it lasted ages and ages, literally never ending so very money saving :money:. I got sick of it in the end though and the scent wasn't my favourite. However it does a really good job and there was none of the white powder falling everywhere that I've had with so many spray deodorants. I've replaced it with the same brand but in the floral scent and I already much prefer the scent of this one.

alberto balsam pink grapefruit and guava conditioner - Wmba this wasn't as good as the shampoo purely because it's quite a watery consistency I think. However I love the scent and it did do an ok job all things considered. My hair wasn't too bad and not too dry. These are good value for the price.

where has September gone?! Can't believe it's nearly October. I've just re started having proper horse riding lessons again in an effort to cheer myself up, have something to look forward to and more of a challenge... I usually just plod around a field on my friends pony, I'm now having proper constructive lessons as I want to be able to do more with the pony and be able to ride her properly. I've been so lazy since having surgery last year and I've lost a lot of confidence and ability. I did so much sitting trot this morning I was worked really hard but I loved every minute it just felt so good to be riding purposefully again. The horse was lovely and really looked after me, he was huuuge but a gentle giant. I was such a hot mess with terrible hat hair after. I was really glad to get a lovely shower and put my feet up when I got home!! When the weather gets really miserable I am so looking forward to having my lessons and then coming home to relax in a nice hot bath. Perfect day off work :D

It just feels like tune is flying by ATM! I'm itching to get my Christmas toiletries out. :o oh and I have a travel size bath and body works pumpkin body lotion to get out for next month. I am really sad I know. :o

Anyway this is how the pp is doing seeing as the month isn't far off ending!

    2. TBS blueberry lip butter

    6. TBS vitamin E night cream
[STRIKE]7. Alberto balsam grapefruit and guava shampoo
    8. Alberto balsam grapefruit and guava conditioner
    9. Avon chamomile hair balm
    10. Vaseline active fresh deodorant spray[/STRIKE]
    11. Katie's kouture eau de toilette
[STRIKE]12. Amplex caring roll on deodorant[/STRIKE]

    [STRIKE]16. Sanctuary body scrub mini[/STRIKE][/QUOTE]

i think this is looking like a must try harder month ha. :o hopefully more UU next month! As some things on the list are close to finishing but will probably finish in October now. Eau de toiletries are so annoying, hardly anything in it but it just keeps spraying arghhh. When will it end :rotfl:

Oh and a resident of mine at work has run out of a load of stuff, I have too much so I've got a bag of a few bits to give to her so some GA's. I had a bulk load of Radox from eBay a while ago and I just have so many shower gels and body lotions so I'm sure she will be pleased to re home them :)

    Radox cherry shower gel
    Radox berry shower gel
    Radox mango shower gel
    Sanctuary mini body wash
    Sanctuary body lotion large size
    TBS chocomania shower gel mini

Hopefully thse will keep her going for a bit :)

  • NBI of this - A Burt's Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands
It's rather nice, I'll be keeping it at hand to use. This is the first lip crayon I've owned, all those I've seen looked as if they might be drying to wear but this is fine. I like the colour too, very natural.

Shock, horror, I actually bought something. I have an IN of shower gel.

I have around 250 ml left of shower stuff in 4 various bottles/tubes at the moment, so everything will probably splutter and die within a few weeks, and possibly in the same week. Like Gemzie, I baulk at paying more than £1 for shower products.
When I saw OS Lavender and Tea Tree for £1 in Savers, I therefore duly got it. Normally I would wait until I was on the verge of running out but not for this one.
All of the other OS variants they had are usually available (Eucalyptus, Mint and Tea Tree, Lime, Lemon, Cocoa and Shea Butter, Raspberry and Vanilla) but Lavender and Tea Tree only seems to appear rarely. There were just two other bottles on the shelf. I steeled myself to just take one.

I think this is quite possibly the first shower gel I have bought this year, I got given well over a litre of the stuff for Christmas, Mother's Day and birthdays and also had 500 ml of free shower gel to review. Plus the odd foray into soap and shower scrubs.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

Last 2 UUs before I fly out this morning:-

LE Nourishing face mask. Nothing wrong with this but I do prefer the Decleor Herbal Clay Mask and will get a tube soon.

jack Wils Hooe Cove shower gel. Love this fragrance and use the body spray every day. Will look out for some of this in the Boots sale maybe.

So long everyone. See you in 2 weeks. X
