A sort of NBI. Ages ago, a seller offered me a jar of coconut oil to review. I said yes and heard no more. Saturday, I buy a jar of coconut oil to be used mostly for culinary purposes, from Aldee. (£2.99).
Of course, I then get an email Saturday evening telling me the free coconut oil is on its way, and it arrived on Sunday. Gotta love Sunday deliveries.
So I now have two jars of solid oil and can be a bit liberal with it as a skin and hair treatment.
Although I think it will be hair rather than skin, as it doesn't do a lot for my skin, which is fairly well pampered.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Sundaysgirl I have had a lucky spell recently. Have built up some good feedback both on Ebay and Vinted so it helps too!

I came across an article on Boots website about make-up use by dates. So accordingly, different products last for different durations. A list is below.
Eye shadow - 1 year
Lipstick - 18 months
Eyeliner - 1 year
Mascara - 3 to 4 months
Liquid foundation – 1 year
Face powder, blusher, bronzer - 2 years

Yay!! I finally have some more UU's to report...this month has been sooo slow!!
Cetaphil cleanser - WNBA, really don't think this is very effective but I got some as a freebie and have some more to UU in the stash, looking forward to seeing the back of this. I use it as a second cleanse and a morning cleanse as it seems incapable of cleaning off heavy makeup!
Also finally UU my Taramar Day cream, I have had this on the go for ages! For those of you looking to go natural and to avoid animal testing this may be a product you will be interested in. It is not launched on the market properly yet though I do believe they have a facebook page... It is an Icelandic seaweed/water range so very pure with nothing in it that you couldn't eat! genuinely... it does a great job, very moisturising and something I WDBA once it is available for sale.July 2015 - £997 in Debt.

Ooh I will have to look out for this when I go to Iceland in May - sounds good
I have a couple of UUs:
Johnson's Baby Shampoo 300ml: Originally used for a medical condition but I got something better so WNBA.
Sainsbury's Basics Shaving Foam 250ml: HG - WDBA.
VALM - have a nice holiday! I'm going to the states soon too so I'll be trying to note down my UUs. Hopefully I will get a few as I know I'm going to come back with a mountain of stuff from Bath & Body Works, Walgreens and CVS!
EDIT - we haven't heard from FizzWhizz in a while, hope she's okay!0 -
I have UUed a candle! It was wax lyrical vanilla and cinnamon. It was a present, I probably wouldn't buy that scent for myself but it was nice and comforting.
Yet another non PP list item. rolls eyes0 -
AND another candle UU! I thought, well, onto the next one, I'll get my big yankee jar out, only to find the wick had totally burned away and I was trying to light the metal. I didn't like this one much anyway, people commented on the smell and not in a good way. I inherited it from a relative, but if I buy candles now I prefer to get vegetable or soy based wax ones. Has anyone got any tips for getting the rest of the wax out of the jar so it can be reused/recycled?0

Try (gentle!) warming of the jar, probably not the top of the radiator at this time of year, but perhaps stood in a bain marie (saucepan over hot water).
That way the wax adhering to the jar should loosen first.
In theory.
A UU woo-hoo!
The final one in my possession of the free to review Aussie Shower Smoothie, this is the one that smells of pink bubblegum. Yuck. I note when I did a thread search that someone bought one earlier in the month.. wonder what they thought?
The weird thing is my DD (thirty-something) and my DGD (14) loved it. Just as well, as they had three bottles of the stuff.
I'm not supposed to give away review items but instead of one bottle, I got six, and it's the sort of smell that it's easy to get tired of quickly. Very quickly.
A pal had another, to keep it out of the drains and/or landfill. I forgot to ask her verdict. She is quite polite, so I suspect she probably didn't like to say she hated it.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again...
