  • Thanks Mcculloch29, I will go gently with the heating. I hope I've not dmaged the jar already stabbing it with a kitchen knife.

Sorry to hear the bubblegum experience! I do think there are some scents that appeal more to younger/older people. I could never understand the granny obssession with lavender, but now I seek it out.
  • Hello everyone! :j

Got some new in's to report...

    Gucci Bamboo Body Lotion 50ml x 2
    Gucci Bamboo EDP 30ml x 2

I bought the above as gift sets in Boots, and you got 1000 Boots Points when you bought two gift sets from a certain selection + 10% off any gift set over £30 (they were £49) and I used a 10% off the total order over £85 plus cashback from TopCashBack! I really liked this Gucci Bamboo so I decided to treat myself, the normal EDP 30ml is priced at £49!

Also another in is Joules Blooming Relaxing Bath Soak 600g - From the new Boots Christmas range, 3 for 2 offer, bought two as Christmas presents so kept the freebie for me! :T

Still not gone through my stash, I hope to though by the end of the month!

AND another candle UU! I thought, well, onto the next one, I'll get my big yankee jar out, only to find the wick had totally burned away and I was trying to light the metal. I didn't like this one much anyway, people commented on the smell and not in a good way. I inherited it from a relative, but if I buy candles now I prefer to get vegetable or soy based wax ones. Has anyone got any tips for getting the rest of the wax out of the jar so it can be reused/recycled?

Put the whole thing in the freezer and after an hour or two the wax will just drop out whole.

    I wondered about FizzWhizz too.

    Have a good holiday VALM.

How long does blooming foundation last? When I look at how much I apply and compare that to day cream I can't understand why I get through a 30ml day cream so much quicker. My current foundation will never end, it isn't even spluttering, I like it but have lots of others I need to get through.

Repainted my nails last night in Revlon Checkmate, it is a lot like Porcester Square which I love.

  • no more movement to report yet, which is suppose is a good thing as it means the stash isn't growing!

having a nice relaxing and pampering evening in, I've been feeling rotten for about a week now with no signs of improvement so I'm hoping a good long bath and a relax will help sort me out!
  • Evening all, had a little wander round Boots this evening, upstairs the Christmas sets are now half out...nothing caught my eye:T Although saying that the Extracts sets had a spiced apple set that might be nice. Must look for a tester downstairs in the normal range next time!

A UU here Right Guard Total Defence 5. Have quite a few splutters that should also be UU in the next few days. Think I'll be opening up a Snowfairy next, its been too long:)
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

2 more off the list. The bioderma is part of my routine and I have another HUGE bottle. The bronzer was quite good and natural looking, not too shimmery. That means I have used all my fake tanning products up! Only suncream left in the stash.
It's unlikley nos 5, 11 and 12 are going to go in the next week or so, but almost certainly in October.
