Hi,
I've got access to the BT Sport app which i'll be using on my Hudl 2. I was thinking about connecting it to my TV with an hdmi cable.
Just wondered if anyone else does this? Is the picture on the TV good or does it distort?

I've done it from PC to TV, not tried it with the Hudl but I imagine the picture quality should be just the same?0

iPhone to TV via HDMI cable or AirPlay is excellent, don't have a hudl to test it:beer:0

done it with a Scroll android tablet with no problem0

Have they changed the app? Previously, like Sky, it did not support HDMI output.0

It worked fine on my Nexus 10, would imagine a hudl would be the same.0

afaik you have always been able to cast bt sport to tv so would have been pointless not to allow you to connect via hdmi"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0 -
I watched the moto gp from my hudl2 via HDMI to my TV, very good. Though I dont think it was HD, only SD.0

I tried connecting my hudl 2 to the tv with an hdmi cable but the picture was a little juddery.
Unfortunately you have to have BT Broadband in order to cast the BT Sport app to your chromecast. I only have BT mobile at the moment but may think about getting BT Broadband for the chromecast function.0 -
