Does anyone regret upgrading to Windows 10?

I am starting to see an influx of cases where people have tried installing win 10 without upgrading first (and reging the computer with M/S) they are now getting nagging screens telling them that its unregistered
I then have to tell them that its a long job , reinstalling win 7 (in 5 cases) and guess what ,,,,,,,,, they have not got there discs or ser numbers,
I have found a way to do this , but loading 7 then an upgrade , then a clean install can take several hours even on a fairly modern machine .
I have one being dropped off later0 -

And in any case it might still not work or (with one driver I found) it may block it and say there are compatibility issues.
That's exactly what happens.Tried to install in compatibility mode and got this message

Just a little update on my bluetooth problem.
I bought this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111675802434?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT and initially it didn't work but then I found an audio setting to make my bluetooth speaker the default audio device and now it works perfectly.Switches between wired speakers and bluetooth one automatically.
Now this could have been the issue...and the fix....for my other adaptor but as this new one has a longer range than the Belkin I'm not going to bother finding out

I am having problems with my TeckNet® USB 3.0 4 Ports PCI Express Interface, I only found out when I plugged an additional external drive, it only likes one plugged in at a time.
It was OK in Windows 8.1:(over 73 but not over the hill.0 -
I'm reading these responses and have read articles about Windows 10 and my mind is telling me not to upgrade. I've just got used to Windows 8.1 - I bought my new laptop in January. I don't want to muck it up installing Windows 10 because I didn't do something correctly or any incapabilities. I know it's less likely with a newer machine, but to be honest Windows 8.1 I'm happy with. I didn't think I would be. I do prefer Windows 7, but at the moment I'm happy with Windows 8.1!0

YES YES YES on a lenova t400 today , wish I had never started doing the thing , bent copy of 7 installed , and that was only the start , GRRRRRRRRR
divers ? what drivers0 -
I haven't upgraded from 7, which I don't have any regrets as I don't want 10. I plan to stick with 7 up until this laptop fails.
My next big purchase is only weeks away when I am purchasing an Apple Mac Pro, Microsoft was a good ride throughout the years and I started on Win3.1. However this latest lurch with Microsoft and their upgrades, pretty much since ME, was the nail in the coffin for me with Microsoft.
My Desktop runs XP, Linux or Ubuntu, my Tablet and mobile devices run Android, so its not as if I will miss Windows if I lose 7.:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I have eventually sorted it , I had to use a legal copy of win 7 I had then do an upgrade
there is nothing wrong with the bios , why should I think its faulty or out of date? plus this thing is probably of an age where it asks you to insert a floppy drive to create a disk , so why break it and have to pay for it?
the boot up menu , does not show "pendrive" , it boots a pendrive from usb external drive
I did try win 8 (64bit) but it was incredibly slow , win 10 , once you leave it to settle down for a minute does run ok0
