Driving on right hand side

Thanks everyone. Still undecided whether to hire a car when out there. My sister in law says she will drive us about, but think it will be too much for her and she won't want to do the little journeys to the beach or the supermarket.
From what I can see on the map, it's a straight road from the airport down to the villa where we are staying, so was just going to hire a car and drive that way.
Will look up this code that someone has mentioned.
Not sure about an automatic. I drove my brother's automatic car around the block once and was constantly looking for a clutch and gear stick, but I guess you get used to it.
I live in Herts, so not majorally busy where I live, but not quiet either, though I did drive to work once (Central London, well West End) on a Sunday cos there was free parking and the tube line wasn't working. Don't think I'd like to do it again what with all the one way systems!
The above paragraph was just to give a gist as to how scared / confident I am of driving.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Still thinking about what to do.
The only trips I will be really be doing is from the Airport down to Kathalos and back again. My mum has looked it up and taxis are €70 each way. Car hire is about £132, but I will have to add on child seats.
The only other trips will be around Kathalos and Lindos going between various parties, villas and hotels (it's my brother's wedding), but I don't particularly want to drive for these as I want to drink, haha!!
Wouldn't mind driving to the beach, but think it is walkable (although tell that to a 6yr old and a 4yr old), plus we have a pool.
I think I'm convincing myself not to hire a car and just use a cab for the two main journeys.
Is it easy enough to book a cab from one villa to another, i.e. where do we find numbers and how do we book it (do they speak good English over there)? There will be five of us, me, Mum, Dad and my two daughters.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

It's interesting isn't it? Most of my wife's family (she's from somewhere that drives on the right, as do most countries) wouldn't even consider trying to drive here when they visit.
We just have to live with it as almost everywhere we visit drives on the other side.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
On a rotating plate, with spikes like Flash Gordon
And you're Peter Duncan; I gave you fair warning0 -

It struck me that other day that almost everywhere we visit drives on the left.0 -

Australia, Caribbean, South Africa, Ireland, Malta, India. Mostly, bits of the globe that used to be pink... Japan's the most notable exception to that.0 -

Similar to Malta where they just drive on side that's in the shade.0 -
I bet it was fun to sit and watch the world go by that morning back in 1967 when the Swedes swapped from driving on the left to the rightChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0
