Thank you so much ampersand.
I'll have a read through those posts and will come back should I receive a genuine LBC in the future (hopefully it won't go that far).
I found the tone of the ZZPS letter threatening. Is there anyone you can recommend complaining to? I thought maybe the OFT, or my local MP. Even if it falls on deaf ears, I'd feel better about having done something about them.0 -
You could see if they "adhere" to any code of practice, and if so report them to the relevant trade association. Otherwise trading standards.0

You have your ticket, tell them to dig the garden over, there just scummy brummy scammers.PPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

'I found the tone of the ZZPS letter threatening.' - precisely their aim.

Now you have read some successful appeals on the popla decisions thread, you may see whether or not yours might have been improved.
Notwithstanding the popla system change on 21 August, do you want to request a review of a perverse decision? Your parking event pre-dates these changes.
If so, insist the ticket was correctly displayed, unless you scuppered this with your earlier letters. I can't say what the response might be: new apparatchiks may shy off dealing with an older matter.
Keep pressing, for the Lead Adjudicator. Seek out names.
It is known that some operators 'help' dislodge dashboard tickets. A hot day can do the same. So, the ticket is not fit for purpose of 'display', which popla used as the condemnatory element of this heinous 'offence'.
Obviously, if anything at all, 'failure to pay' should be the crux, but Popla accept that you paid.
The BPA's Steve Clarke can be emailed, but if you want to pursue overturning the old popla decision, read up on the new r!gime.
Much depends on the language you used in those early comms.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
