  • the openelec is a "one click" setup , no Linux knowledge needed

very few setting to configure start up ,

do you have a machine sat around and a spare 120g gig or similar disk drive ?

    2 min install , http://openelec.tv/get-openelec , you make a pendrive using widiscimmager , http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/

try it , and see if you can cast from windoze to it , and then cast from a media player

the basic setup (openelec) takes about 2 mins to set up on a basic pc

I am no Linux expert , nor do I want to learn it , hence the reason for going with openelec as opposed to a lot of the other ones that are Linux addons ,

remember this is a media player , no k/board or mouse , just a MCe remote (xbox) using the CIR on the nuc (that does NOT work under windows!!!!!!!)
