    Hello

    Could I join you all?

I'm going on holiday on Friday, but would like to join from today until Thursday if that's ok? Them I'll rejoin for the week after I come home.

If that's ok, I will pledge to spend £50 this week as I have a few things left to buy for holiday.

Today I have spent £2 on lip balm and bubbles for my niece. Edit, I spent an extra £1.50 on a WW magazine so £3.50 in total for today.

I'll be back tomorrow to update.

Hi Everyone, I'd like to join

Target is £30 for me this week. Including groceries/lunches/travel expenses. Money is tight this week so no unnecessary spending this week and using up all I can first.

Right, I am going to set myself a limit this week of £50, to include any groceries, pet food, toiletries, petrol etc, but not counting costs for my business or Direct Debit type bills! I hope to come in under this, as I have plenty of meat and fish in the freezer, a well stocked larder, and some veg and fruit in the garden. I will need milk though, some bread flour, and no doubt some other things as well.

I will try to update my totals on here each day, to avoid having to write things down anywhere else (and probably lose the piece of paper or whatever :o)

First spend of the week was £1 today for a bunch of carrots :)
  • I'd love to join this!
Have already got my groceries for the week and only have 3 days at work this week.
I do need to get an outfit for a wedding (I don't have anything suitable that fits) and their gift (they've asked for vouchers) so going to budget £50 for that. I shouldn't have any other outgoings other than bills.
    Trying to remain debt free!
    Sept GC £24.10/£200
    Weekly spend £0/£50
    Sealed pot £3.15

I'd love to join please, we had a NSD today and tomorrow morning we are going away (within the UK) until Friday. We've drawn out £200 cash and aim to bring back some of it, we shall see! So £200 is my target for this week thank you :-)
  • I'm budgeting £60 for incidental spending for the week.

£9.50 total spent on street food and a book today.
So additional stuff to store in house total=1 item (am trying to declutter and hope this challenge will help)
  • Hi all
Quick check in from me tonight as I've just gotten home and it's late. Came in under budget on my girlie night but haven't checked my purse yet. I spent £2.39 on cat food at L!dl earlier today as I had run out of tortie's favourite.
I just wanted to say I'm really pleased to see so many people joining in here. Hopefully it will give us some insight into where exactly our pennies go.

Have just sat down and completed my groc delivery from T's which is due Thursday.
Fridge reasonable will only need bread milk possibly coffee during the week.

Have to really try and stay out of the shops. :)
No intention of spending one penny today. :)
