No pin is needed but the card is, but not a credit card or BOS cards.

Can count upto 50 notes, mixed denominations and 5 cheques per transaction. Cheques take the same clearance time, four working days clear on the 5th, cash is available immediate as per the name of the machine.

as others have said you have a chance to confirm the payment, either a cash total, cheque amount or a mixture of both before the credit is made.

if you make a mistake, the cashiers will amend when they do the checks on the machine.

anyone can use the machine as long as they have a card, not just the cardholder.

can beat the queues at the counter, but then again you may find a queue at the machine and not at the counter, but it works the same as the counter computers...
