Can anyone point me to the link that was posted on mse which showed that there was 11.000 points available when you applied for the credit card and made a purchase, there was a thread for it some weeks ago but I cant seem to find it

Use the 'search forums' facility (at the top of the page). The above was found by entering "Sony 11000".

I would just like to add despite being told over the phone a balance transfer does not contribute towards the points I received a letter from them stating that it can be a purchase or a balance transfer to qualify for the offer, which was then 11,000 points. You receive 2,000 on activation of the card and 9,000 when the criteria has been reached.

Thanks for the link, and yes I will use the search in future. I have phoned the card people using the free phone number and explained that I had a printed copy of the web page, I read out the relevant information and the very helpful lady assistant has logged the query and is passing it on to the promotions dept for them to sort it out.
She has said that she will review my file in 5 days when they should have dealt with it and contact me either way.
