Is it true what I have heard that BT are this month going to add and charge for BT sport to every account whether the people want it or not?

Isn't it wrong they are imposing it on people?0 -

Looks like it's an 18 month contract not a year. Have a look at post 3 here...

I have the Entertainment Plus package (£10 per month) as part of a contract negotiation made in June. My latest bill (July 28, paid August 05) shows BT Sports Pack at £13.50 with a £13.50 discount, so net £0.00 covering the period 28 Jul - 27 Aug 15.
PS - my contract negotiation was for 12 months, not 18 months.0 -
My BT Sport is free with the BT TV basic nil per month 18 month contract .0

I had no interest in paying for BT Sports but when I extended my Broadband contract they simply could not understand why I did not want the "free" BT Sports Lite. I didn't want it because a. I would not watch it and b. I don't want to have to keep an eye on when they next change the ground rules. It took a lot of persistence but is now off the bill so I am saving £0 per month!0

if everyone opted out bt would have to rethink its ludicrous decision to put even more money in soccer players pockets"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

I didn't even realise I was tied into a new contract just because I cancelled the BT Sport package? They didn't make any mention of that when I was on the phone, though I was more interested in getting them to remove the additional £3 they've been charging me for my internet for the past six months.
If it wasn't for the fact that my Fibre connection with them has been very solid, I'd be looking elsewhere.0
