The alleged contravention was on 09/04/2015

I received the letter on 20/04/2015

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that the rule was that I had to use the POPLA code which must be given upon rejection within 28 days for it to be valid. Why was I even given the option to appeal if it was just going to be rejected because of some pathetic '28 days' rule? Surely if I have a case it doesn't matter when I appeal? Feeling very frustrated haha!

    You do look too late.

But don't be frightened into paying just because they say they have put the debt collectors on you.

Expect some unpleasant letters and just ignore everything unless you get a claim in from a Court.

You say you sent in your appeal 2 weeks ago??

Yes, and I received it today (literally only a couple of hours away from it being over 14 days!)

Once you send it it needs to be acknowledged within 14 days, then, if the appeal is rejected, an appeal template for POPLA MUST be given. After that, you have 28 days to use your code until it's invalid.

Yes, but how long did you have to enter your initial challenge?

Did you use the Parking Cowboys appeal which starts:

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
