pre wash the front of the car with hot soapy water, leave to soak for a few minutes then wet it over again before you wash the car all over
the pre wash will soften the bugs and make them easier to remove0 -
I'd use hot water and if still no joy, autoglym tar spot remover.0

Kitchen towel, soaked in water or, even better, screenwash. Lay it over the affected area and leave for 15 minutes. Push the kitchen towel to one side as you lift it off, and most of the bugs will come with it. The rest should come off with a gentle sponge. .
This works well with dried on birdsh!t too.0
