I can set my air con to warm........defrosts the windows quicker in the winter and you don't get condensation because the air is dry...and mine has an auto button on it, you set the temp and if the car gets warmer it gives a blast then adjusts it's own speed.

I have mine on all the time as well...I've tried a week's driving with it off and a week with it on and had no difference in fuel consumption so I just leave it on auto all the time.

    Sure you don't have Climate?

Dual Zone climate control is the way to go, that way you and your other half can set the exact temp you want.
  • Windows open, that's good enough for me.

If you did that here in sunny Spain it would be like driving into a fan heater! (No comments about a car full of hot air, please!).

Never tried climate control, but wouldn't be without the air con here.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
