Sorry!
Spotted the dodgy email address just after I'd sent it. One bounce later....
What I like about this action from G24 is that it lets me go on the offensive. It appears they may have broken the Data Protection Act 1998 in requesting my data (making a false representation for the purposes of accessing data) and that places me in a much stronger position....0 -
Google vs Vidal-Hall set the precedent that damages for a breach of the Data Protection Act need not be simply for pecuniary loss, but rather can be applied for simply when distress is caused by the breach.

Oh, I very much think so. Won't say anything more now as I don't want to prejudice anything.
But this does feel good.....0 -
Right folks, to cut a long story short, G24 Ltd have cancelled the PCN, but this isn't the end of the matter. I would be VERY interested in hearing from ANYONE who has appealed a G24 PCN at the IAS and has a copy of the IAS ruling.0

Parking Prankster is probably your best port of call for this ... he's collating IAS appeal results so may well have some G24 ones.0

That's a great idea. Thanks.0
