    Hi folks,

Thanks for all the comments so far.

One more question - given I've sent them a "put up or shut up" letter, is there any point in me making an "appeal" to the Kangaroo Court (IAS)?

This morning I reported G24 Ltd to HMRC for VAT fraud.

A deep sense of satisfaction ensued....

    Next up, the IAS "appeal".

For those interested, I submitted an IAS appeal in order that in the unlikely event that G24 take me to court, I can demonstrate that the IAS did not engage in the appeals process in any meaningful manner.

For those interested, you can read it here.

It's an adapted version from the one laid out on the POPLA appeal thread. My thanks to those who have put the time and effort in to produce the advice there.

And yes I know the IAS appeal process is worthless, but I'm learning lots about contract law case law so the whole saga is very entertaining.

Great appeal - it's completely devoid of any text :rotfl: (try your link!). Has about as much chance of success as any other appeal to the IAS.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

My bad - refresh and try it now.

As this is on the internet, I'd suggest redacting the online copy to remove personal, identifiable details. (e.g. PCN reference, VRM etc.)

You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Hi pould.

I read through your saga with interest and wanted to mention I have an almost identical initial first reply letter from G24 with a few paragraphs added and taken away mid letter. I wondered why the reply I received from G24 was to three numbered points. My letter to G24 did not contain numbered points.

I am not enjoying the harassment from G24 one bit, although I can see some people relish it.

    Good luck.

Once the first debt collectors letter comes i will issue a cease and desist to G24 (of the form of "Take me to court or drop it").We'll then move onto an harassment claim.
