I have had a premium club account from M&S since they started it for the travel insurance. I am very happy with it. But today I received a wee gadget like a calculator to make a code so I can access my account. Doooh what idiot thought that one up. It failed jammed and now I can't access my account. They are sending me a replacement thingie. M&S get your act together - this old lady doesn't want all this palaver and as for the gadget the grandchildren will think it is a calculator for their dolls. :rotfl:

Probably someone in their security department.
I've had my Barclays one for about 15 years so it's hardly a new thing.0 -

Have one from smile for about five years or so, never any issue and only required for a few selected transaction types.0

It just keeps saying FAIL 1 and won't clear. It's sorted now. Someone from M&S phoned me - seems this was only for a current account so I don't need it as I don't have the account it was supposed to be for.0
