I have been trying for months to get my unlock code from Vodafone,I filled in the online form to get the code,it came back saying the IMEI number was wrong, but it is not! I tried again, still the same,so,after ages waiting on the phone to their customer services, i spoke to a guy who had the same problem as me,the IMEI was not attached to my phone!! But,after a while he said he had done it, and I would get an email shortly, guess what? I didn't......I tried again to call, so the y said i needed to go into a Vodafone shop,so I did,my Slough branch, they guy there was very helpful, but he ran across the same problem as me,he could not get it either, the IMEI number does not show as on the phone I have!!! he spoke to his supervisor, she said that I had tried to put a unlock code in(Blaming me for the problem)I told her, this is a new phone direct from Vodafone, either Vodafones computer records are wrong,or they have given me an illegal phone, they took my details and said they had contacted Vodafone head office and i would be copied in on the email,i have not,and I really need an unlock code URGENTLY as i go abroad a lot and need it done, could someone from Vodafone help me with this matter please????

The PUK code? or SIM lock? If its a contract phone it probably wont be locked unless its an iphone.

Not had a locked contract phone from them for a few years.

Did the IMEI on the phone match the one on the box when you received it?
