Just add that your company is the keeper of the vehicle . Don't want them returning to the hirer and it may be worth letting the hirer know that if they do to pass on any correspondence back to you .
PPC's love hire companies that just pay up and pass on the charge to their client
If I tell them that i'm the keeper, but then go on to say there's no keeper liability, am I not being contradictory? It's been a busy old day my heads a shed.0 -
There is no keeper liability because their NtK's are non compliant with schedule 4 . Therefore they can only pursue the driver .
By identifying your company as the keeper and not revealing who was driving they are royally f@@@ed
Keep all paperwork0 -
Send me a pm i'll deal with this off forum for you if someone will confirm my genuine intent0

Your help has been very much appreciated.0 -
Letter now starts:
Re: Charge Notice XXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Reg: XXXXXX
To whom it may concern;
We the company, as the keeper of the above mentioned vehicle wish to challenge the ‘Charge Notice’ on the following basis:
(The rest goes on as previously posted)0 -
No wait until someone confirms .
I've dealt with loads of this rubbish but you don't know that .
I only want to take this off forum because it has a slightly different angle that needs explaining
But the letter start is now fine0 -
Salmosolaris is one of the good guys here and is also a prolific poster on PePiPoo. Can be confidently contacted - a very knowledgable poster on all things private parking. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I genuinely can't thank you all enough. I'm off home, and will access again tomorrow.
I feel guilty that I've questioned anyone, but it was only so I was sure, not in any way to question their knowledge.
Catch up tomorrow. Thanks again0 -
