Isn't it only bank accounts with a possible credit facility? So current accounts do but savings accounts don't?0

I was thinking of applying for the M&S bank account and credit card. The Virgin Card isn't doing much in the way of extras.
Do banks rely on a recent search or always search again even if the application for another product was only say a week ago?0
