What is the cheapest way to have internet at home. I have been told there are sim cards that are data only and cost £15 for three months.

Mobile internet can be faster than fixed line broadband (especially if you're not in a fibre/cable enabled area). It can be cheap for low data usage - but there aren't (AFAIK) any unlimited data plans available that work on mobile wifi devices or permit tethering, and plans with lots of data allowance are quite pricey.Let's settle this like gentlemen: armed with heavy sticks
