I saw them while i was searching for jobs as i often do, i mentioned it to my hubby who is doing a menial dead end job well below his abilities thinking this might be the answer to improoving our lives. Hes ex police and it seemed great, we had a brief check and it seemed legit, they were offering similar things to other agencies but this one was actively recruiting. They said they needed you to comit to a minimum of 15 hours a week in their contract and that you would for your miney get the course your registration and access to a minimum of 15 hiurs a week at a minimum of 40 an hour. We paid via bank transfer our savings and a bit we borowed, 745 or something. My hubs worked hard between his job and kids to complete the course, then nothing. Numerous emails have resulted in nothing. Then the website update so actually we have paid 745 for nothing more than a bit ofplastic with his picture on. After reading this i told him to ring the fraud action line and he has. We will file a small claims action too i think. My hubs is devestated by this, its knocked his confidence and he feels dredful. If i could track them down id give them a peice of my mind. How did you get your miney back?

Do not even think about joining them.
Theyou are scam artist.

I have started court proceedings against them
They do not operate from compass house.

Fraud squad have been in touch with me.

I am in talks with judge rinder so people can see this low life scum as who they are.

They say that they would refund money and keep making excuses.
I will go full out on these people now.
They say that they get these sites are slanderous, but q investigations are scam artists and scum.

Take action against me q investigations.

Hi --I paid these scammers only one £95,sent them photographs for my ID card and got nothing,rang William up and he said that they was in the process of changing suppliers of there ID cards as the old supplier was not supplying in there view a professional looking ID badge.So we're. Changing.I have a letter from them confirming my appointment as a Private investigator!!
Got no work,no leads ,nothing--It's all pie in the sky I'm afraid.
I have also been to Cambridge to track these scammers down but nobody has heard of them.Q investigations is set up as a sole trader with somebody's wife as a front.There company is not registered anywhere.Clever posh website!!!.I would be willing to attend court if they can ever be bought to task, I understand that the office of fair trading and some other authorities are aware of Q.So anybody else thinking of giving them money -DONT.

I did a quick search for Q and their website is no longer available.
I also searched for reviews about Q and found 3 other websites of fellow sufferers.
I will search every so often for 'Private Investigator' jobs just to see if any 'old friends' resurface.

I received an email today from an outfit that bears all the hallmarks of QIS:
I won't name it at this stage.
1. It's not a limited company
2. An accommodation address for an office.
3. Poor grammar and punctuation..
4. Throughout the email the name varied from ' XXXX Investigation Services' to XXXX 'Investigation Service'
5. Offering plenty of work.
6. An 'off the shelf' website'.
7. Claims of being fast growing etc.

Is there a catch?

Anyone else received the email?
