Why do some cyclists use the entire lane, use fog horns, and flashing lights?????????

    London roads are not designed well enough for cyclists to position themselves in every single road, as many road are single lanes. sounds good in theory

    How exactly does a single lane prevent a road user from being in the correct position?

    It works well in practice although some motorists resent it as they have to slow down. What's the average speed of a car in London?

    You are almost always behind someone while using a road.

    Are you talking about a single lane road? This is mainly just country lanes as there are not many other single lane roads built in towns and cities.
